The objective of this talk is to bring awareness and provide some answers to the following questions. How can users control their personal data? How can users check what devices are enabled? Is it possible to check what personal data is collected and controlled by whom?

Managing geodistributed teams with diversity and inclusion awareness requires intentional effort, communication, and collaboration. In this workshop you'll be invited to think and discuss about cybersecurity in different contexts and the impacts of a cyber attack. You'll be walked through concepts and experiences in cybersecurity and experience a cyber attack. You'll need your mobile phone for this workshop.

This workshop will give you the steps to transform charts into an empowered data-driven message. Transform charts to be more readable and still dazzle your audience. You'll need to bring a laptop and a spreadsheet program (Google Spreadsheet; Excel; Calc) to make charts.

The goal of this workshop is to empower women to take control of their careers and achieve their full potential. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their career goals and will learn how to improve and tailor their CVs and cover letters to specific job applications and how to prepare for interviews. This workshop will also provide strategies for building self-esteem and self-worth.

Working as a Business Analyst, you are going to have to manage a room (in person and virtually) to gather requirements, review new processes, walk through demos, and explain concepts to the companies you are consulting for. In this workshop you'll learn about the different BA activities and get ready for success when working as a business analyst.

Story Mapping enables us to break down work and create shared understanding. In this workshop a hands-on activity will be conducted where you'll learn about the different phases in creating a story map and ultimately prioritize stories to deliver value and meet your customer's needs. Tips and tricks will be discussed so you can start facilitating story mapping in your team.

In this workshop you will learn that Low-code software development offers a simple, more accessible way for non-technical users or “citizen developers”, to reach capabilities that were once only reserved for high-end development tools. Power Apps is a low-code application development software built to create custom mobile and web apps with a user-friendly interface. If you are aiming for the hands-on experience you will need to bring your laptop and access to Power Apps.

Software QA Engineer at MotorK
After leaving university with a Master Degree in Computer Science, Patrícia Mateus was quite unaware of which area she would like to pursue and develop a career in it. Kind of by accident, Software Quality Assurance appears in her path and she reviewed herself in that area. As such, that she's already working as QA for 10 years. She participated in different projects, with different teams and cultures, languages and ways of working, That's why she likes to talk about this area, present them to the ones that don't know that it exists and deconstruct the idea hat QA is just testing and randomly clicking buttons.

Researcher and PhD Candidate at Instituto de Telecomunicações
Catarina Silva is a Ph.D candidate in Instituto de Telecomunicações (Aveiro). Her main research area focuses on Digital Privacy and Privacy Engineering approaches. She works on privacy-enhancing technologies development and proposes techniques to evaluate privacy in dynamic scenarios. Her work was already applied in several international and national projects in the context of smart environments, eHealth applications, and network scenarios. Additionally, she teaches programming courses in the Informatics department at the University of Aveiro. Finally, she is a member of the IEEE Digital Privacy Group which is focused on the framework and foundations for digital privacy in the current technological society.
Frontend Product Engineer at Cloudflare
Mónica Fidalgo works as a Frontend Product Engineer at Cloudflare after a career switch to tech. She's also a teacher and a mentor for women in a tech community. She likes to spend as much time as possible making open source projects, creating blog content, and helping the dev community. Away from the computer we can also find her lost in the nature.

As a Brazilian psychologist with a Scientific Master's degree in Psychology of Intercultural Relations, Vanessa de Oliveira has developed a deep understanding of the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of her life. Having worked and studied in many different countries, she brings a wealth of global perspective to her current role as a DE&I Inclusive Hiring Regional Lead for the EMEA region at Cisco. Vanessa is also a lead in Conexion, a community for LatinX-identifying employees and allies, where she helps facilitate personal and professional growth through inspirational leadership, coaching and giving back. With her passion for problem-solving and public speaking, she has become an expert in DE&I, intersectionality, and the importance of creating a more inclusive workplace. Her dedication to this cause is evident in her work and her ability to inspire others to take action.

Catarina Reis holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a postgraduation in Strategic Management from the Universidade de Coimbra. She has been a Professor at the Polytechnic of Leiria since 2002, where she lectures on advanced topics in software engineering, agile methodologies, software quality and object-oriented programming. She is currently the Head of Research and Development at VOID Software to increase the outreach of scientific advancements in several areas. Her research topics include mHealth, Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies, Mobile Development (Android e iOS) and Agile Software Development Practices. She is a Senior Member of IEEE, Counselor of the IEEE Student Branch from the Polytechnic of Leiria. Vice-Chair of the IEEE Portugal Section and the Co-Chair for the Community Dev/Outreach of the IEEE Blockchain Initiative. She is also a frequent contributor as a reviewer and author of publications in conferences and journals.

Ana Ferreira, PhD, CISSP, HCISPP (Portugal), is an Information Security specialist, teacher and researcher at CINTESIS@RISE, Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, Portugal, for the past 20 years, where she leads various research projects in the areas of access control, privacy and usable security as well as risk assessment, regulations and social engineering, applied to the healthcare domain.
She is the author of more than 110 scientific publications, with about 900 citations and frequently participates as a Cybersecurity Expert Evaluator for the European Commission. Ana is currently an Ad Personam member of ENISA’s (European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) Advisory Group and was selected as one of the Top 100 most influential women in Cybersecurity in Europe,
the Top 20 Most Inspiring Women in Cyber in 2022 and won the Cybersecurity Woman of the Year Awards 2022, in the category “Barrier Breaker”. Ana is also the Co-Founder of Women4Cyber Portugal, where she leads the team for Research and Innovation and the Co-Founder and Vice-President of the Portugal (ISC)2 Chapter.

Cristina Almeida is leading Women4Cyber Portugal, a non-profit association whose mission is to promote and support the participation of women in cybersecurity. Teresa Carreiro started as a software developer in 1994. She is one of the co-founders of Critical Manufacturing, which started in 2009.
