The “move fast and break things” mentality rarely considers the technology-enabled harm certain groups experience, particularly women. Today, women face distinct digital risks shaped by platform design and AI, from synthetic media abuse to impersonation and large-scale harassment.
These technologies do not create harmful intent, but they can amplify harmful behaviour at scale.
This talk explores where current systems fall short and what safer, more holistic design could look like.
