Vânia founded in 2010 the first Portuguese community for women in tech, Geek Girls Portugal, a community dedicated to inspiring, mentoring and empowering women to excel in technology careers. Vânia is passionate about women’s empowerment, diversity and inclusion and throughout her career dedicates efforts on building a more diverse tech ecosystem while supporting women in tech to step up. With over 20 years of international experience in technology, security, digital transformation and research across different industries, Vânia is a passionate and driven leader who aims to leverage technology, research and innovation to create positive social impact. She is currently also a Research Manager at Cloudflare.
